Instructions for Downloading 1. Download the win95ico.zip file to a temporary location. 2. Create a new directory where you want to put the icons. (I used C:\Windows\Icons\Sherman). 3. Using an uncompressing program (Winzip, PK Unzip, etc.) extract the single file to your new Sherman directory. 4. You can then delete the original win95ico.zip file if you like. (File size = 23k) Installing your icons in Windows 95 1. Right click on the icon you want to change. 2. Click on Properties, then the Shortcut tab, then Change Icon, Browse, and finally navigate to the new Sherman directory. 3. Choose the icon file you like. 4. Click Open, OK, OK and voila, you now have a Sherman's Lagoon character as your icon! Installing your icons in Windows 3.x 1. Single click on the icon you want to change. 2. From the Program Manager menus, choose File, Properties, Change Icon, and navigate to the new Sherman directory. 3. Choose the icon file you like. 4. Click, OK, OK, OK, and voila, you now have a Sherman's Lagoon character as your icon! BTW: These are 32x32 pixel, 256 color icons, so if the colors don't look quite right, it usually means you are using a display resolution lower than 256 colors. The fix?
